Jon Blalock of Jon Blalock Hair (www.jonblalockhair.com) came to us about a year ago requesting a website. Throughout the course of the year we have worked closely with him to assist in developing a discriminating clientele. Late last year we approached Jon with an idea to generate return visits from existing clientele as well as to increase his business through generating word of mouth spreading from existing clients to their friends through the use of an in-house advertised contest. As I dropped off the contest forms this afternoon, he had a client “in the chair” having her hair styled. We handed her the contest form and explained the contest. Imagine her surprise when she realized that every one wins something- including a friend of hers who schedules an appointment with Jon.
She immediately mentioned a friend who had never been to Jon’s salon before whom she would be advising of the contest. That’s immediate results!
